Piquetes

Here's a crazy idea (only targeted for my fellow Argentines) before the weekend:

What if, instead of having to stand each day the chaotic transit generated by the constant "piquetes", there was a company with a huge TV set where all the protesters could go and spend 30 min doing as much noise and claiming as they wanted and then (HEAR THIS!), this compnay GUARANTEED mainstream TV coverage?

In fact, you could go one step further and actually LISTEN to the claims, vote on them, generate virality, and support the ones everyone considered more reasonable (kind of a Digg model for protests).

There are only 2 things I haven't figured out yet:

1) How could this company make money, since although there is clearly huge economic value generated by eliminating all the disturbances of the "piquetes", and at the same time achieving the goals of the protesters by getting enough repercussion, I don't think that "Laboratorios Bago" or "Cafe 5 Hispanos" would be willing to sponsor these broadcasts...

2) How to make sure that the protests are done in an orderly manner, and the studio survives.

I do think, however, as crazy as it sounds, that there might be something interesting behind this idea...

(By the way, in case someone wonders, I already registered the piquetes.tv domain!)
